I've just seen your post, and I feel the need to react, as I'm concerned in a way...
Sorry if this message isn't right in the topic, but it's just painful to read those lines...

Please do not say such things without knowing the situation...
You speak about «one man shows», «egocentric developers», etc... That's just so hard to hear that...

About the api_macmade extension, which is concerned here, I just want to say I uploaded it a very long time before the ECT team was up. And the reason why I uploaded it, in the first time, and as well as the other extensions, was because I wanted to share that code with other developers, and give people the opportunity to use the things I created...

Now if you decide to call me an egocentric person just because I doesn't fit your guidelines, go for it. But I find that very sad.
You say we don't take the chance to join the team... But have you simply asked us? Not really, in my case...
I'm actually the person in charge of the T3 french community, which is a huge work. So I think I'm not just a «one man show, just thinking about himself»...

Anyway, I really think you should try to interest the developpers to join your team, instead of writing bad things about them, especially if you don't know them, and if you never tried to contact them... This would be just a bit more constructive, in my humble opinion...

Sorry again for the angry message... But I really hope you've understood what I was saying...
