[TYPO3-ect] Better trees

Hi Elmar,

I installed your extension on a TYPO3 4.0.2 system.

I could click it until the 4th tab or so ... I got some PHP warnings 
concerning passing variables via call by reference. But everything 
worked. And then I suddenly got this one:

Fatal error: Unsupported operand types in 
/srv/www/typo3/typo3_src-4.0.2/t3lib/class.t3lib_div.php on line 1686

Even un- and reinstalling didn't eliminate that error!

The PHP version is 5.0.3
