If you search for guestbook, you will also find guest-book, as they are connected to each other... as well as g-uestbook, if someone uses it.

The process would still be to connect them. If you come across guestbook and guest-book, you need to connect them somehow. An interface should be made available. If you search for one item, the others are added to the search. That's what is called clustering in certain cases.

I always wanted to go for clustering for search results. In some projects, people search for words, misspelled names and stuff, you could connect them. So of someone searches für tüpo3, you would automaticly search for typo3.
