Hi Elmar,

this does not contradict my statement: The LGPL explicitly grants you 
the right switch to GPL if a) you own the copyright or b) you distribute 
a modified version (which as in my original post consists of original 
LGPL code and GPLed changes => the whole is GPLed). This is just the 
same for BSD and MIT although it's not necessary to grant this 
permission explicitly.

My point is that you cannot effectively grab a copy and make it GPL.
