Yes, I'd like to do it. To write it correctly - I think there are three
questions:
* Is there a problem in law to integrate a MIT-licenced
software-component into a GPL-licenced framework?
* Does a copy of a MIT-licenced component really have to have the
MIT-copyright-notice - or not? (I remember Elmar Hinz's post)
* What is relicensing - and would it be possible to do this for the
MIT-licenced component to integrate that into our GPLed framework?
