I believe that MIT style license is compatible with GPL. See :

Some resources disagree....
However I think that prototype can sit perfectly in our TER because of
what I read is that MIT
is compatible with GPL.
xajax is released under LGPL, does that mean it doesn't belong on TER
because the name is different?
No, it DOES and CAN belong on TER simply because also LGPL is compatible
with GPL, just like MIT.
