I think it possible to hold to the same libraries, during the 4.x cycle,
if we don't want to have the newst thrills available.

I am also not convinced of a such a service, specially because there
isn't only the server side. Also the handling on the client side (JS)
differs from library to library.

Programming all the functionality that prototype and xajax offer, also
isn't that realistice choice.
