[TYPO3-ect] MVC

hallo everybody

how is the situation of MVC in typo3?
i saw something in the TER (but alpha)

i'm studing cakephp.org, symfony and a bit of ruby on rails.. i really like them.. but i think it would be best an integrated solution within typo3

i think cakephp could have the best chances (it's simplier) to lend something to a typo3 MVC ext.
