One problem is, that ECT has already waited to death for monthes, now.
     Waited that the lead developrs get their head free for a little
wider view then details of 4.0. It's not a lot of decisions necessary
from them that ECT could work. But some communication is simply
necessary from their side.

Some motivated people got very frustrated meanwhile. Version 4.5 will
come close after and maybe nothing will change in between. TYPO3 loses
development resources this way as a whole. There are a lot of other
promising PHP frameworks starting up all around, based on PHP5 with
completly new possibilities.

It is a problem when the lead develpers are occupied with details to
much. I hope this will change in future and they find another form of
works organisation.
