Good idea, but the question is, if extensions can wear that without approvel through someone else than the developer itself.

What about asking the design team to make little label image (like the
German Bio-Siegel, http://www.bio-siegel.de/) for ECT compliant
extensions? I think such a visual representation of ECT compliance would
boost the awareness. For the moment it could just be put into the manual.
