Hi Ries,

it might be a good idea to add Prototype, simply because it does different
things.

To prevent extensions using the same function names there is a very clean
way by prefixing the function names with the extension keys xaJax does
support prefixing. => xajax_tutor.

You still have this problem, if you put 2 plugins of the same type into one
page. In that case you need a different soulution. You could prefix a
random number or a counter, to make them different.
