You speak of extensions to the set of std classes defined by CRG.
Let's ussume I am a Designer. I want to build a public skin for the fictional
version CRG std 1.5.3. I call my skin "nordic winter 2007". I make buttons,
backgrounds and CSS.
I would be pleased if this skin would run with as many extensions as possible.
For extensions that only use the defined std classes I don't need any special
CSS. They will work with my skin automatically.
Extensions that only work with extensions to CRG std 1.5.3. will need the
additional CSS files you mention. But I never will be able to adapt "nordic
winter 2007" to over 1000 extensions.
That is the reason why I think that as many extensions as possible should
implement the std classes.
