Hi,

these are my thoughts on my voting regarding timtab:

Pros:
- provides some pretty themes
- works mostly "out of the box"
- the manual has many good screenshots
- the coding style is mostly (although not completely) clean
- makes use of other extensions in a very smart way
- a blogging feature is very important for Typo3 as blogs are all the rage

Cons:
- the manual still has some stub content
- the setup and constants are not in static/
- there are some CVS files in the extension
- partly not-so-good coding style: magic numbers, incomplete PhpDoc,
broken indentation, commented-out code
- not really OOP
- abbreviations in function names
- some HTML is hard-coded in PHP
- EM warnings
