Introducing ECT members: Peter Kindström
I started in this community with helping structure the wiki. My
ambitions was also to structure the OOo documentation, but
there were too much talk, not enought response from "the big
guys" and too much work to do alone.
So instead I turn my effort to this group and Partner Framework!
* Your developing experiences
Some PHP-developing, but just simpler scripts in conjunction
with mySQL databases.
* Your experience with TYPO3 in special
Used it for nearly two years now. Use TemplaViola because I want
to start quick and simple and then learn the details one by one
when I need them.
Have also struggled a lot to fine and adjust extensions too my
needs...
* Interesting TYPO3 projects you have done
I was the one "pushing" people to write explanations for the
Glossary. And we got finished too! ;-)
* Professional profile
I used to work much with documentation and information, but
since my company switched to a CMS without the possibility to
make your own "extensions" I called it a day...
Now I work part time with coordinating our deparments internal
education and part time as an ordinary technician (Air Traffic
Safety Electronics Personnel: http://www.ifatsea.org/atsep_if.html)
* Experiences in team leadership and project management
This is something that interests me, but I have no real
education in that field (I will try to get my boss to send me to
such a course this year).
At work I sometimes manage _small_ projects with a budget and a
time frame - and sometimes I have to get other people to help me
with these "projects".
* Your expectations for the ECT
Reduce the number of extensions doing nearly the same thing, by
coordinating developers and ideas.
* Subprojects that you want to support
Partner Framework, i.e. to get a great login extension that is
separated from a great address/user information extension.
Regards,
Peter Kindström
