Hi Uschi,

Could it be that you have installed an extension that already extends 
tx_rtehtmlarea_select_image? Please inspect Admin Tools -> Configuration 
-> $TYPO_CONF_VARS -> BE -> XCLASS -> 
ext/rtehtmlarea/mod4/class.tx_rtehtmlarea_select_image.php.
