i imho would prefer a fixed minor number for LTS (i think 100 is a
solution that never breaks), because than everyone can see that this
version is a LTS (so noone has to think about "Was 7.18.0 a LTS or ist
there a higher version, and what was the LTS in the 8 brach, was ist
22", he sees it directly ... x.100.z IS always a LTS)
