The changes in the FAL data structure can be easily converted (from an
6.0 or 6.1 installation) using the "Upgrade Wizards" in the Install Tool.

Using these Upgrade Wizards is required for upgrading your installation
regardless of FAL anyway.

If you are coming from pre 6.0 with DAM, you might want to try this
extension instead:
