[TYPO3-core] [TYPO3-dev] Poll: Should we keep supporting "global extensions"?

Hi everyone,
We are using this feature on multiple servers with 4.5 and unfortunately had noticed that the support for global extensions was dropped with 6.2 already. I would really appreciate if this feature could come back!
