[TYPO3-core] Troubles with extension updates in EM

Hi!

Testing the current master, I have issues in EM:
- Extension updates take forever (press on the update icon and wait as long 
as you wish). Downloading t3x directly from typo3.org takes seconds, so no 
network issues. No proxies, no vpns, using curl in TYPO3.
- Uploading extensions manually to EM shows a blue message that says "null 
uploaded!" and nothing is really uploaded.

Does anybody else has such issues?
