[TYPO3-core] TYPO3 6.2 LTS: Release Manager Election

Dear TYPO3 enthusiasts,

the slogan "after the release is prior to the release" is still valid.
After the first TYPO3 Active Contributors meeting last weekend (protocol
will follow) we are driving towards TYPO3 6.2 LTS, focussed on a smooth
upgrade path from the previous TYPO3 4.5 LTS version.

But, the most important role in this process is not elected and assigned
yet, it's the role of the Release Manager [1]. Thus, we are going to
start this process as usual with a nomination phase and after that the
online election of the Release Manager. Just go ahead and nominate if
you'd like to see somebody of the TYPO3 Active Contributors taking this
position or even if you'd like to be on this position yourself. You can
do this until Friday by replying to this thread.

The whole procedure:
1) Nomination phase from today until Fri, May 10 2013, 2pm CEST
2) Notify Active Contributors about this process and send voting links
3) Election phase of the nominee(s) until Sun, May 12 2013, 2pm CEST
4) Announcement and "inauguration" of the new Release Manager

Don't hesitate to get back to me or any release team member if there are
questions concerning the role of being Release Manager.
