[TYPO3-core] IRRE and workspaces support

Hi all,

I'm currently reviewing the TCA reference and I stumbled upon the 
following sentence:

"Please note that IRRE does not fully work in conjunction with
versioning. Only 1:n relationships are supported in workspaces (since
TYPO3 4.5)."

I know that IRRE and workspaces interaction has been improved for FAL. 
Are there still some limitations or can the above statement be entirely 
removed?
