Hi Jigal, i did this several times. Now i gave up, there seemed to be a problem on this server with innodb_file_per_table setting in general which i was unable to solve, plesk was not working anymore, coming up with database reading errors, so i switched back to the normal inno_db setting, where everything works again ... thanks all, vg Steffen
