Well, I do not care whether to have or not to have the closing tag.

After all, it feels more right to have it, but feelings are a bad base for 
argumentation.

Closing the tag might lead you to bugs at the beginning of a file, but more 
often simple linefeeds will generate trouble which might be hard to find.

So I am +/-0 on top topic.
