[TYPO3-core] cleanup of issues on forge?!?!?

Grüezi,

I was kind of shocked when i saw the number of open bugs in the TYPO3 
Core currently:

Only the core team members can cleanup the old bugs like and prioritize 
them. Is there anybody willing to take care about them?

I started from page 111 backwards to have a look at some bugs, added 
some patches to gerrit but i am not a TYPO3 oldie and don't know how to 
handle some quite old bugs.

wouldn't it be a great goal to reduce the number to 1000 until the end 
of the year for example?
