thanks - it was exact this problem.

I guess i should avoid calling git pull within a branch. I did this 
before having submodules all the time to keep my branch synced.

It would be nice i there were a way not to branch submodule if i work on 
something outside these modules, that would also avoid to init 
submodules in branch.
