Hi,

hopefully not too late to send a reminder for this RFC.
Peter asked me, if we should stick to v2, because v3 would introduce too 
many changes. That's fine with me.

@Steffen: could you have a look? Introducing this with 4.6 would be too 
late, if an extension want's to use "Tx_" as a prefix, but also needs to 
be compatible to 4.5 (which is very likely to happen)
