The result of the ping pong on those two issues is very funny, because
look how the patch for *this issue* now looks after #17114 would be
committed. Attached in v5. :)

As a "good" installExtensions() is now available on the super class, the
Workspace Wizard doesn't need to do anything else => we just remove the
obsolete code. ;)

+1 by writing and testing (with #17114-v5 applied).
