[TYPO3-core] RFC #17120: Problem with the integration of third-party trees

Branches: trunk

Extension DAM has it's own trees:

1. A folder tree for Media > File
2. A folder, category and seletion tree for Media > List, Media > Info, 
Media > Tools
3. A category tree for Media > Categories

In the current trunk in each of these modules only tree 2 is displayed - no 
change on switching to another module. We had a similar problem once in 4.3 
and 4.4 trunk (see 0011562), but this one is different: Only tree #2 can be 
accessed.
