Thanks for your patch, however we should not introduce new hooks and
interfaces to patch level releases. So I suggest the following:

* TYPO3_4-4 & TYPO3_4-5
  + Just add the donation thingy there
* Trunk
  + Code Cleanup (var -> public etc.)
  + Add the new interface and the hook
