[TYPO3-core] RFC: #17500: Improve error handling in ExtDirect router

Hi,

seems that this RFC broke the list-view in the workspace review module. 
At least a "router - no such workspace defined" shows up when opening 
the view - which worked before :(

I'm going to have a deeper look in the next days but it would be great 
if someone who has more detail knowledge could also check it.
