Thanks!
Set, reset and unset are often used in strange and sometimes incorrect ways.
First of all, there is no form "setted"; it's simply "set".
Second, "reset" is often used as the opposite of "set", while it
actually means "set again" (a repetition). So, after "setting" a flag
you can "unset" (or "clear") the flag. Later on you might "reset" it again.
Reset is often used in the context of setting the default values.
Instead of "reset configuration" (which would mean to set all the
configuration items again (perhaps importing them from somewhere)) most
of the time "set configuration to default values" is meant.
Perhaps a native speaker can shed some light on this topic.
