this is indeed not needed for any core stuff in 4.4, and therefore there 
probably would count as feature, where in 4.5 it is a bug. That's why I 
have been undecided how to "declare" this.

But I already talked to STeffen K. and we came to the conclusion that 
this won't be needed in 4.4.
