It's on track to be resurrected, but we're not there yet. It's part of a 
number of extensions (like kickstarter) whose development needs to be 
"activated" again. The current plan is to make it the common 
responsibility of the Core Team to care for the. Of course the community 
would still be able to contribute.

However I think our resources are currently all focused on 4.5 until 
feature freeze, so not much has happened yet.
