In the "languages" view of the page module is a limit of 480 in the 
table. In the "columns" view there is a min-width and max-width in the CSS.
Maybe the situation from the "columns" view can be copied to the 
"languages" view?

Removing the width="480" makes the "languages" view take the full width 
of the screen :-(
