At first I also thought that.
But only defining color and font-weight for #username is not enough, because 
that is overwritten by styles for a {}. That problem is visible, if access 
to User Settings is available. Without the definition for #username a, you 
would no longer have the right styling, when you have access to the module 
User Settings. So both is needed.

So I added the styles for #username.
