[TYPO3-core] RFC #14516 Background gradient images wrong colors in browsers with color profile capability

Hi,

this is a SVN patch request.

Problem:
Because of color correction in browsers that support color profiles
(like Safari), the module background gradient image does not match the
CSS color (see screenshot).

Solution:
Remove the color profile from the image by using a gif.

Remark:
I did not manage to achieve this with a png, but that's probably my fault.
