just to be a bit constructive instead of only criticizing: Attached
another version of the patch, where I had especially an eye on IE6.
Still not everything perfect, but you can now work in IE. [If some JS
guru is around: There is still a JS error whenever I try to edit some
content in IE, couldn't figure out where that is coming from]

The zip contains only the images I changed myself, the ones from the
binary patch are all broken here (they get extracted but can't be
opened, so Steffen, if you are still around, could you perhaps provide
us with non-broken icons? ;))

Attached also a screenshot showing firefox and IE6 next to each other
(you see that we still need a pngfix for IE).
