Problem:
Unless to getPage() within t3lib_page, there's no way to hook into the 
getRecord() processing.

Solution:
The attached patch adds a pre- and a postprocess-hook to 
t3lib_page::getRecordOverlay().

Additional information:
This request is relevant for the languagevisibility extension ( 
http://forge.typo3.org/projects/show/extension-languagevisibility ) 
which enables flexible language-fallsbacks.
