I started looking at this (yes, seriously ;-) ) but I have 2 failures 
when trying to apply the patch. One is in the ext_emconf.php file 
(weird), the other is with the 
hooks/class.tx_indexedsearch_tslib_fe_hook.php file which is entirely 
removed and added again. Is that normal?

Can you provide an updated patch please?
