Judging from what the code is used for and the name of the variable, it 
looks like this should contain the names of the user and group who 'own' 
this page.

The Permissions page shows permissions for the user/group/everybody, the 
User Overview page show the resulting permissions for the current user 
and a (slightly) different background if you happen to be the owner of a 
page. Adding the user/group will help explain the resulting permissions.

Why not define the variable here? :-)
