What do you mean?
ext_em_conf has a boolean var, but IMHO no path setting. The path itself
is not set in ext_em_conf, but in EM class em_index as I posted before.

There seem to be some more places with uploads/ hardcoded (e.g. lowlevel
sysext).
I don't have the time ATM, but could look at it at T3DD10 bug night.
