[TYPO3-core] [TYPO3-dev] Announcing TYPO3 4.4.0RC1

Dear TYPO3 enthusiasts,

today, the TYPO3 community released the first Release Candidate of TYPO3 
4.4. The final version will be released on June 22nd, 2010 as planned. 
Since the last 4.4 release of beta3, three weeks ago, there have been 
changes to Caching Framework, which got some updates from its 
counterpart in the TYPO3 Phoenix project, updates to the Rich Text 
Editor and the icons and styling of the TYPO3 Backend.

Although this is a release candidate, there are still some issues open 
that need to go in the final release and that are not included yet. 
That's why there will be an additional Release Candidate on Saturday, 
June 19th.
