Hi,

+1 by reading. This is an absolute no-brainer. The BE_USER can be set 
from outside, so $GLOBALS is wrong.
See description:
"The user-object the script uses. If not set from outside, this is set 
to the current global $BE_USER."

Committed this no-brainer to trunk rev 7902 and 4_3 rev 7903
