Gif and PNG-8 images also have "transparency", even if it's only a 
colour which is made transparent when displaying the image.
The PNG images I'm trying to create have an extra 8-bit channel for 
transparency.

We already have transparentBackground and transparentColor which are 
used for creating the Gif/PNG-8 "transparency".

If there is a name which can describe the transparent channel and is 
still understandable by integrators, I'll use it!
