Hi,

that's indeed a problem with interfaces, any change will break eixisting 
usage of this interface.
I'm not sure how to deal, normally there has to be a new hook with new 
interface which looks like an overkill.
Alternative it would be possible to set a property of the class which is 
accessible in hook, and reset it after the hook.
