I'm not too deep into this topic, so excuse me, if the context you're  
talking about is different - I really like to notation seen in all the JS  
frameworks.
It's way more readable / extensible than the way TYPO3 does it with 5-8  
parameters.

Also adding new parameters would be easier, as the number of the callback  
parameter wouldn't change.
