I'll try to have deeper look - if I can reproduce it with 4.3/4.4-dev -
 but I can't promise I'll find the real cause, my fix was more a
"surpress the symptoms" so I'll probably need a bit time to fix the
problem itself. I'll see if I can do it this weekend.
