Hey,

I took Steffens v2 patch and tested it. +1 after testing and reading.

committed to trunk (rev. 6943)
committed to TYPO3_4-3 (rev. 6944)

However, I feel like this patch is something that if an extension 
developer cannot write in a certain style, that it's his/her fault that 
this extension isn't working properly.

Anyways, as there is the patch available already, I committed it, but I 
don't think we should encourage sloppyness :)
