[TYPO3-core] working an a backend-redesign and wondering about class.t3lib_iconworks.php

hello list!

iam working on a backend-redesign, and i have a few questions  
belonging to class.t3lib_iconworks.php ...weird things happens  
there...the icons-prcoessing needs a facelift!

am i on the right place? ...or do i have to ask/discuss on another list?
