+1 after reading and testing. Also tested the new units tests, which run 
fine.

While looking at the code, I just found a funny typo in a comment. I 
would be glad if you could fix it before committing, please change 
"asterix" to "asterisk". "asterisk" is "*". "asterix" is ... well, 
Astérix le Gaulois [1] ;-)
